How To Install Ionic Framework In Windows?

1.first step to install ionic in windows computer you will required Node.js for installation.

2.Firstly Downalod Node.js(Below 4.0 any veriosn) .Click Me!!

3.After Successfully Installation. You will need to install corodva and Ionic framwork using node command line(CLI).

//Execute this command
npm install -g corodva ionic

4.This command may take some one fo the time to install(download) ionic and simple cordova globally in your computer.It more depand on your network internet speed and generate result.

5. Create my simple first ionic Application using below command. Ionic Start steps will crerate simple ionic project. it will required to internet connectivity (landline any.) for install my simple new Project.

ALTERNATE way – step by step ionic installation on windows

step 1 : first of all download and then install Node.js in your system

step 2 : open cmd and execute this command npm install -g cordova ionic using cmd

Step 3 : next got to cmd and execute : sudo npm install -g cordova ionic : this command

Step 4 : Last update already install npm: npm update -g cordova ionic execute this command

or

step 4 : Last update sudo npm update -g cordova ionic execute this command

Simple ionic installation on windows steps

Ionic install – Requirement:

1.First of all Java : install java //step 1
Now Go to click this link https://java.com/en/download/ in system download,and install java in your system

default Preferable Location find in your system:
C:\Program Files\Java

now go to check and Rename package to JDK in system(instead of jdk_version in system) and java will confirmation ask you for JRE location(like c drive,d drive..) install in same folder and save it.

2. now second step is Apache ant: simple install Apache ant binary (easyly )distribution
than Go to click this link http://ant.apache.org/bindownload.cgi and download free
apache-ant-1.9.4-bin + more binary distribution(veriosn)

sample : Preferable Location:
//dir..
C:\apache-ant-1.9.4 or more + version

3.Install Nodejs in offical site : install nodejs
then Go to click this link http://nodejs.org/ and download free in your system install nodejs

setup : Preferable Location:
//install dir ..
C:\Program Files\nodejs

4. now mobile setup in Android SDK: Basic install Android SDK file not Android file
then Go to click in this link and download http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html and download simple way to next click install SDK prefreable location (in Install Stand Alone easy SDK free download)

setup Preferable Location:
//system dir
C:\Program Files\Android

then Go to c dir and save path C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk
Simple Right click on this SDK manager tools, and Run As Administarator (right click)
(win + r)Otherwise go to command prompt in system and type “android” simple
It will show you SDK manager
And Select versions Like….

1st : Android SDK tools (veriosn)
2nd : Android SDK platform-Tools (veriosn)
3rd : Android SDK build-Tool (Tools)for Rev 19,19.1,19.01.1 or more +

and then Select any versions Like..
1st : Android 4.4W.2(API 20) + more
2nd : Android 4.4.2(API 19) + more

Then go to Extra tools

Select : simple way to Intel x86 Emulator(tools) Accelerator (in HAXM installer)

Now Go (download)and Install all this package(java,sdk,cordova,ionic), it takes more time to free download and install easy way.

5.Simple install Cordova:
cmd :Open command prompt win + r -> cmd) and type
//command
npm install –g cordova
//execute this command
it will install cordova package on machine

6.Simple install Ionic
cdm : Open command prompt (win + r -> cmd) and type
//command
npm install –g ionic
//execute this command
it will install ionic on your system

good luck Upto This You have Everything (done)Installed(need to ionic) on your machine(system).
Now next thing parts in adding and checking it’s most imp to Environment variables for all above locations in your system.
I just like to one part write this simple part separately because It will all startup help you to Install(done) almost everything without face to any problem and now you can fast to start building(application) projects in ionic(quick) .

Ionic setup : step by step Environment variable:

Fisrt of all Right click mycomputer and then
select on Properties in mycomputer
choose in Advance system setting in task bar
select to Environment variable plz confirm.(USER VARIABLES select NOT SYSTEM VARIABLES select)

second then you Click on New tab and Add button click as follow:
first : Variable name: ANDROID_HOME Properties set
second : Variable value: C:\Program Files\Android;C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\;C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\platforms;C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools;C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\tools; //set Properties

Third on : Click on New tab and Add button click as follow:
First : Variable name: JAVA_HOME Properties set
Second : Variable value: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk7 (please Note do not include semicolon
at the end of the line like “;”) //Properties set

Now Last step to Then Edit Path and check to confirm and add list of Following values here :
C:\Program Files\nodejs;C:\Program Files\nodejs\node_modules\npm;C:\Program Files\Android;C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk;C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\platforms;C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools;C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\tools;C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\platforms\android-19;C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\platforms;C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools;C:\Program Files\Java\jdk7\bin;C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\tools;C:\apache-ant-1.9.4\bin;C:\Program Files\nodejs;C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk\system-images;

Now Check If Everything options are working or Not (first check it..):
Go to command prompt
win + r – > cmd
1st : Type
2ng : Java
3rd : Java –version
4th : Node
5th : Cordova
6th : Ionic
Etc…
Now verify Every command will on display you version + more veriosn and parameters check it.

Ionic – Information of HARDWARE PART:

Go to the your dir. C:\Program Files\Android\android-sdk in this path
And open AVD Manager To create simple android virtual device name and
If you already(done) have then no issue (this is for fresh install(done) and target Beginners – steps)
Click

click to Device definition tab

Select and set list following options display.

your test Device Name :Nexus s 480*800 + more confi..
Target in apps and run :Android 4.4.2-API level 19 + more
on your system CPU/ABI:ARM(armeabi-v7a) lavel
Select hardware part:hardware keyboard present on your system
System RAM:512 + or more
Emulation option: select one USE host GPU
next step to And then click ok
testing part : Now check another tab at
in the Android virtual devices , you can easyly find what you new added just.
and add Select same and ok click start to start emulator(tools) separately.

ionic Start Coding:

Create one folder in your system(dir.) in C:\ with name ionic in my system or any other name as you like(myapp,application..), in my case its (create a folder)
C:\ionic

Now Open command prompt and run this command

Cd to ionic

Type
ionic start myFirstexApp tabs
cd to myFirstexApp

list of type

1st : ionic platform using add android
2nd : ionic build using android
3rd : ionic emulate using android

as well as you can also check to project in browser(Mozila,chrome),
Example : just type : – ionic serve
